Palestine was never a state (dewle) but only a geogrphical area of the historical greater Syria (Sham), there has never been a Palestinian distinct national identity before present era; they have been akin to what Basra people were and are to Iraq. However Kurdistan like Germany up to late 19 century, though not united under one flag, was not only a distinct cultural and linguastically defined nation on its own land, but also its semi independent principalities from its north west end such as Bederkhan principalitiy to far east, Aredlan in Sinne, though caught in between Shia Sefewy Islamic empire and Sunni Ottoman Islamic empire and under hegemony of one or the other , yet unlike Sham, Egypt and Baghdad Kurdish rule was more of allies if the emperial pkwers, thus fairly independent of Ottoman and Iranian rule till the beginning of 19 century when Turks and Qejar began directly occupying Kurdistan. Since 1924 beside Turkish and Iranian occupation, Arabs have joined in occupying Kurdistan. Indeed Kurds are one of the biggest nations that are still occupied by third world petty imperial Arab, Turk and Fars states of middle east; Kurds and Kurdistan have lost land and have had population murdered genocided by a factor of more than 10 times that which has happened to Arabs of Palestine during the Arab Israeli conflict of last 73 years over land

Yet I have never seen Arabs anywhere , or Palestinians coming out in demonestration in support of Kurds be it during 1930es genocide of Dersim, or Saddams genocide of Kurds in 1980es, nor during recent Shia on slaught of Kerkuk, Khaneqin, ISISgenocides of Izdi Kurds or Turkish destruction of Batman or Kobani etc.
